Shiatsu/Acupressure

Shiatsu uses the acupuncture points or meridians plus the reclined posture of the anma method. Therapists apply pressure with the finger, thumb, palm, elbow, or knee to certain areas on the skin. The benefits of acupressure include: alleviated headaches, eye strain, sinus problems, neck pain, backaches, arthritis, muscle pains, tension produced by stress, ulcer pain, menstrual cramps, lower backaches, constipation, and indigestion.


AROMATHERAPY

It is a massage treatment that involves scented plant oils like lavender, in its application. Therapists choose "essential oils" with relaxing, revitalizing, stress-reducing and balancing properties; according to the patient's needs. They use long, gentle, sweeping strokes to the body trying to insert the oils into the client's body via the capillaries.


Neuromusculartherapy (NMT)

It is a massage used in body's specific soft-tissue with the aim of balances the person's central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system. Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is very helpful with biomechanical problems. NMT also releases spasms and hypercontraction in the muscle and ligaments, removes trigger points that origins pain, re-establishes postural alignment, rebuilds the force of damaged tissues, and assists blood and lymphatic flow.

Reflexology

A natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears and their referral areas within zone related areas, which correspond to every part, gland and organ of the body. Through application of pressure on these reflexes without the use of tools, crèmes or lotions, the feet being the primary area of application, reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and helps promote the natural function of the related areas of the body.
